Dede Fox has presented to both large groups (Artfeel and Texas Library Association Conference: “A Taste of Texas”) and to small (Holocaust Museum and JCC Book Fair Family Day). She has held readings and writing workshops in public libraries and elementary schools. As a career educator for many years, she supervised lunch in intermediate public schools, so nothing fazes her! Dede Fox read selections of her poetry “Illusion,” “Reprieve,” and “Hamza” as part of the Friendswood Poets Ekphrastic Poetry Festival. Her photographs for the three poems will also appear in the anthology.
