Dede Fox reads aloud her poem “Planting Johnny’s Appleseeds” at the launch of Equinox, Volume 9, “Wide Open.” Equinox is a biannual, digital, multimedia journal that chronicles and showcases poetry, prose, and art.
Please come early to visit, order food and drink, and settle in. Equinox contributors begin presenting at 7 p.m., followed by an open mic, and ending with live music as time allows.
The event is free to the public, so please invite friends and family. Also, please support Kojak’s, as they have made it their mission to support the arts and provide a welcoming venue for poetry and music in Houston.
